Before placing your order, please read through our Terms and Conditions.

By using this website and making a purchase, you agree to our terms of use as set out below.


For Custom Orders such as invitations, a notable amount of time and care goes into your order. Please allow 3-4 weeks from the start of the proofing stage for your order to be completed, although we can be as quick as 1-2 weeks. 3-4 weeks is an approximate time frame and may be affected by the speed at which your proofs are approved. If you need your order quicker than this, let us know and we will do our best to accomodate you. Please note that urgent orders in peak seasons may require an additional loading fee.


If you place an order with us but don’t have your information ready at the time, please supply this to us with ample time before your deadline so that we can complete your order in time. Orders that are left to the last minute can result in unnecessary errors and also not arriving in time before your event. As a guide we recommend allowing at least 2 weeks before your deadline to allow for design, printing and postage of your order. If the details/information for your order is not supplied in time, please note that we cannot offer refunds.


Design, printing or production will proceed once the payment for your order is received.

Up to 2 Free Proofs are included as part of your order. This means that you will get to see your designs before printing them, and make any amendments as needed. Any further changes made to your artworks after 2 Proofs will incur an additional artwork fee to cover the extra time involved. We suggest having all your information ‘ready to go’ when you place your order, so that you can make the most of your Proofs.

Please note that the 2 Free Proofs are based on the original design purchased from our shop (or the custom design brief in your quote). Any ideas, styles, elements or requests that were not previously mentioned in the original brief may incur an artwork fee to cover the extra time involved. We recommend having a specific idea in mind before commencing any custom work, and communicating these ideas as clearly as possible, to avoid any unexpected fees.

Some items may include a small and an inconspicuous copyright symbol crediting Sail and Swan such as art prints, greeting cards and wedding invitations. If you request to have this copyright symbol removed, an additional fee may be incurred.

Please remember that colours on your monitor may differ slightly from the actual item.


We use a commercial print press which means that small print runs can be costly. Save on unexpected costs by ordering some extras upfront. In some cases, a small print run may cost as much as your original print run.

We are more than happy to help you with extra invitations if you need more later down the track but please note our minimum print run for extras is 20 invitations at a time (30 for special finishes such as wood or foiling). For this reason, we recommend ordering some extras upfront.

Once you have approved your Proofs, we send your Order to Print. Please check over your Proofs carefully, as once your designs are approved we do not take responsibility for mistakes.

Changes to final quantities can only be accepted prior to printing.

For ‘on the wedding day’ stationery please provide this information no later than 4 weeks before your wedding day to guarantee completion of your order. Last minute orders may be turned away if we cannot meet the deadline. Information provided less than 2 weeks from your wedding day may incur an Express Order fee.


We want to make sure you are happy with the way your orders arrive, so we pack all items with extreme care to assure they arrive safely. We use rigid envelopes, satchels/parcels or postal tubes depending on the item you have purchased.

Please note that in peak seasons such as Christmas, there may be a delay in the standard postal service delivery time. If you have a tight deadline, please check with us first.

International buyers are responsible for any international custom/duties charges, taxes or fees. For any additional information about customs charges please refer to your local customs agency.


Payment is required at the time of purchase. For custom orders such as branding, logo designs and wedding stationery we require full or an initial deposit before we commence your artworks. Orders are shipped once full payment for your order is received.

We accept Bank Transfers, PayPal and Credit Cards.

Please note that sizes and prices on our website may change over time. Sail and Swan reserve the right to update pricing at any time and without prior notice, however pricing provided in Quotes will always be honoured for 30 days.

Please note that prices may be subject to change if amendments are made to your Quote or to your Order.

In the event of a cancellation payments unfortunately cannot be refunded.


All of the items available from Sail and Swan are made with care and high quality materials. Your happiness is very important so if you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason please contact us and we will do everything we can to make it right.

We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of receipt in the incident that a product is faulty. In the event of a refund your money will be fully reimbursed. In some cases buyers will need to pay for shipping the item back. In these cases items must be returned in their original condition and your funds will be refunded after receiving the returned items.

Please note that we do not offer returns for change of mind, or for custom made orders such as wedding stationery. Due to the nature of our work and the time involved in custom stationery, deposits cannot be refunded.


The items you are purchasing on this website are exclusive to Sail and Swan.

All Sail and Swan designs and content including products, artworks, designs, photographs, illustrations and written content are the property of Sail and Swan and are protected by copyright laws. It is an offense to reproduce, sell or modify any designs, for any purpose, without the prior written consent of Sail and Swan. Sail and Swan may reserve the right to use elements of custom artworks for future designs.


Some stationery may be featured online, on social media, or in printed materials for promotional purposes such as magazines. If you would prefer that your stationery does not get featured, please advise at the time of booking.


Please note that at certain times of the year, Sail and Swan may be closed for short periods of time. This may cause a short delay in our current orders so if you have any concerns with the timing of your order please advise us at the time of booking.

Sail and Swan operate within our working hours, and may not be able available to take phone calls or emails outside of work hours.


Sail and Swan reserve the right to reject an order if we cannot meet the deadline, if unethical business practices are requested, or if a customer shows unacceptable or disrespectful behaviour.


At the time of purchase you may be asked to supply personal information. From that time the connection between your web browser and our online shop will be protected using a security certificate. Please note that credit card numbers will not be stored on our website.
