Purple Wedding Inspiration
Today I am featuring some gorgeous purple wedding inspiration! Purple comes in all kinds of shades and allows you to pull off a different look with each shade. As a result you can apply it to many wedding styles as well. So let’s dive in and take a look at what purple has to offer.
Why I Love Purple
With purple available in so many shades, it’s easy to create many looks. For example soft lavender can be matched with other soft pastels to suits a Spring or garden wedding. Alternatively deep violet works well with ruby and gem tones. Due to its soft, forgiving nature, natural greens and neutrals work perfectly with purple too. You’ll get to see some of these combinations below in a minute – yay!
In addition, there are lots of purple flowers readily available, making it easy to tie your colour scheme together. Other decorations like candles, lanterns, fabric, table runners, ribbons and jewelry can usually be easily sourced in purple hues.
By the way, if you want to create a knock-out wedding when it comes to decorating, you will really benefit from my Styling Article here where I discuss professional styling techniques in more depth!

As far as colours go, purple has a lot to offer. Here are some of the Pros to embracing this gorgeous colour:
- You can pull off different looks depending on what shade of purple you use
- Purple suits natural, relaxed themes really well

- Consequently this makes it easy to tie your flowers in with your overall colour scheme
