This collaboration brought together an incredible collection of ideas, mixing a modern, urban and industrial aesthetic with the relaxed nature of bohemian style in Melbourne, Australia.
Deep crimson and pale peach florals, put together in lush and overflowing arrangements with deep emerald greenery, line the tables and offset the hardness of the industrial warehouse. The floral arrangements showcase natural, native combinations with more colourful and traditional flowers like dahlias and roses. It is truly a match of pure romance mixed with modern and urban life in the city. Soft, romantic ribbons and linen pull everything together. Real wooden invitations and menus feature a natural material with a sense of earthiness and warmth. Each piece features unique wood grain and texture, creating a visual wonderland. Natural rattan chairs compliment the look, as well as colourful rugs to create a sense of warmth and colour. Hanging macrame is draped in the background as a stunning backdrop the couple’s vows, adding an extra texture to the walls and bringing a sense of softness. Our two gorgeous models make for a cute couple, glowing together and letting their personalities shine through. The gown from Luci DiBella is truly stunning, filled with tiny intricacies and beautiful detailing. Its simple elegance is matched in the cake with textural elements of the macrame.
This story reflects the juxtaposition of urban city life, with the free spirit and looseness of bohemian way of life. There is a sense of elegance meeting the industrial; a romantic tale among the industrial architecture. Hard lines and potentially cold finishes are paired with the warmth and softness of natural elements.
