Destination Wedding Ideas
Today I have some Destination Wedding ideas for you to drool over. Destination Weddings can be a really different way of doing things when it comes to your wedding day, and also make for a very memorable experience. Imagine getting married anywhere in the world and the kind of photos you could have! France, Italy, Bali, Hawaii… The possibilities are endless! Your wedding ‘day’ would be more like a wedding holiday or experience.
Things to Consider
Things to consider are first and foremost your budget; would this kind of wedding fit into your budget, and would it have to be a small wedding or elopement to make it happen? Having a destination wedding could significantly cut down on how many guests are able to make it so take that into account as well. If you had to choose, would you rather the perfect back drop or have all your friends and family around you? Depending on what location you pick, you may be able to save a bit depending on the country’s currency, but also be aware that the further in advance you plan this the more potential there is for fluctuations in pricing.
Try Local?
If traveling around the globe is too much to take on, then you could also consider having your wedding somewhere local, but a bit more off the beaten track. Australia is full of forests, parks, waterfalls, farms, hills and stunning natural scenery that you can utilize and make the most of. Just think outside the box and don’t settle for a ‘normal’ venue that everyone else goes to. Sometimes a local, but hidden gem destination, is all you need 🙂
