All three B&Bs come with a hearty country breakfast, with many treats coming straight from the farm! Farm chickens provide fresh eggs and Ruth’s husband, Alan, bakes bread and drops it off at your door in the morning, fresh and warm straight out the oven! Bacon, tomatoes, jam, milk and fruit juice are all included in your hearty farm breakfast, and of course – tea and coffee!
The Garden Pavillion
Old world charm meets ‘the secret garden’ in this stunningly romantic B&B. Set in a private area of the garden, the Garden Pavillion offers a tranquil and intimate setting among Al-Ru’s famous and extensive grounds.
The Pavillion features a collection of French and English Period furniture, with a subtle touch of country style. The interior contains detailed paneling on the walls in soft romantic hues, and textiles that have been selected from across the globe.
A chandelier, gorgeous fireplace and furnishings make it a warm and welcoming space. The bed has soft and fluffy white down bedding; perfect for a good night’s rest. You can also enjoy a stunning light filled and spacious bathroom, and treat yourself to a long soak in the bathtub.
The Garden Pavillion is lined with charming French patio doors that face out onto the garden with stunning views. The scenery can also be enjoyed from the terrace, and it is the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. The nearby lake has beautiful views of the countryside and is lit up in a golden colour as the sun sets, with occasional visits from kangaroo families.
The Garden Pavillion also comes with a delightful country-style kitchen, with all the modern conveniences you will need.
The Australian Suite
The Australia suite is perfect for couples looking for a bit of adventure. Large windows face stunning scenery and gum trees, where the outdoors is truly invited in. Light spills gloriously into the room.
French and English Period furniture with a hint of farm style, make for a relaxing and cozy place to unwind. Look up at the raised rustic farm ceiling and you will discover an array of branches and fairy lights, adding a touch of romance to the space.
A mural of Australian gum trees lines the walls, and the kitchenette has a fun take on a traditional Australian farmhouse kitchen. The beautiful and modern bathroom still has a touch of fun with soft sky and clouds painted on the wall. Of all the B&B options at Al-Ru, this one has the most personality and unique quirks.
The International Suite
A peaceful retreat with equally stunning views, the International Suite has a generous sized bedroom, lounge area and kitchen. The striking interior features stylish and luxurious décor. A plush lounge suite with a large-scale artwork, beautiful textiles from around the world, and antique mirrors, make for a unique and striking collection. The International Suite has a modern kitchen that blends a stylish and contemporary look with small hints of rustic charm.
Large windows bring the outdoors in, with beautiful views and majestic gum trees. The raised rustic farm roof features wooden beams and chandeliers, making for another elegant and unique touch.
The International Suite has a clean and beautiful modern en-suite bathroom, but also comes with a separate bathroom and bunk beds if you have children or guests staying with you.
